Availability:
Wednesday – Sunday (required) State Flour Bakery , an award-winning artisan bakery in Tampa, is seeking a Dishwasher/Porter to join our growing team. This is a vital position that keeps our kitchen running smoothly and supports both the production and retail sides of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, bakeware, and kitchen tools efficiently and thoroughly Clean and maintain all areas of the bakery and commissary facility, including equipment, floors, bathrooms, and trash areas Receive and check in deliveries with accuracy Organize and rotate inventory in dry storage, walk-in coolers, and freezers Support the team with general upkeep and cleanliness throughout the day Take initiative and remain open to shifting tasks or priorities as needed Maintain a strong sense of urgency in all tasks to ensure smooth workflow and support for the entire team
Qualifications:
Experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods) Must be dependable, flexible, and work with urgency in a fast-paced environment Eagerness to learn and grow with the company
