As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health standards. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free from clutter. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping with basic food handling. Support kitchen staff by keeping the flow of clean dishes available for service. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen and dining areas. Help with banquet setups by cleaning and organizing dishware before events. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
