This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and following all sanitary and health related protocols for our kitchen. They will ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. This position should enjoy working with others but be able to work independently. Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Responsible for maintaining the kitchen work area, equipment and utensils; ensuring they are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
• Responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans by use of equipment or by hand.
• Ensure the placement of clean dishes, utensil and equipment in storage areas.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Stock supplies needed for the kitchen area and serving stations with items such as food and / or utensils.
• Set up banquet tables.
• Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving as directed from kitchen associates as needed.
• Assist with product deliveries helping to unload and put away food and supplies as needed by hand or with use of hand cart.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas by hand or with use of hand cart.
• Sweep and scrub kitchen floors after each shift.
• Sort and remove trash receptacles, placing bags in designated pickup areas, ensure receptacles are kept clean.

Education:

Minimum requirement: GED High School Diploma preferred.

Experience:

General knowledge and hands on experience in the area of food preparation and kitchen maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of government regulations concerning health and food service preferred.

Sunday Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently. Position requires working in hot, humid environment while standing on your feet for a minimum of 8-hour shifts. Manual dexterity needed to complete daily activities of pushing, pulling, grabbing and not limited too. Must be able to bend, stoop and retrieve from lower shelves along with the ability to reach or climb to retrieve inventory. Position may be exposed to sharp objects; chemicals as in bleach, ammonia and cleaning detergents. Ability to operate industrial machinery. Competitive Compensation and benefit program, including:
