Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas. Assist with bussing tables and removing dirty dishes from dining areas as needed. Help cooks with food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring that all food handling guidelines are followed. Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the culinary team are essential.
