Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area. This is a vital position within our organization, as you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and providing quality meals to our customers.

Duties:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality of meals
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe handling of food
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of meal service
• Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes

Skills:

• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the food industry
• Experience in food preparation and handling in a professional kitchen setting
• Proficiency with knives and other culinary tools
