The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist in food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping with kitchen tasks. Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by helping with basic food preparation duties. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed, including bussing and banquet support. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
