The main roles are:

1. Dishwashing Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils : Ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue. Operate dishwashing machines : Load and unload items into industrial dishwashers, checking the machine’s temperature and functionality to ensure proper sanitization. Hand wash delicate items : Some items, like certain pots or fragile glassware, may require hand washing instead of using the dishwasher. 2. Cleaning and Sanitizing Clean the dishwashing area : Regularly clean and sanitize the dish pit or area around the dishwashing station to maintain a sanitary work environment. Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment : Help clean other kitchen equipment, like garbage bins, storage containers, or trays, as needed. 3. Organizing and Storing Sort clean dishes : Once washed, dishes should be organized, dried (if necessary), and stored in their proper places. Maintain dish storage areas : Keep shelves, cabinets, and drawers organized, ensuring easy access and cleanliness. 4. Waste Management Dispose of waste properly : Empty garbage bins regularly and ensure that waste is disposed of according to health and safety standards.
