The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential in supporting our food preparation efforts and contributing to the overall success of our dining operations. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and culinary support. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for cooking and serving. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health regulations. Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and organized for events. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
