The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen surfaces. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during busy service periods. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, catering service, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary practices and food service operations is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
