Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including helping cooks with basic food handling and preparation duties. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
