The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are organized and stored properly. Assist in the kitchen by helping with food prep as needed, including peeling vegetables or preparing ingredients. Dispose of waste and recycling according to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Skills Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
