Summary:
This position is responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a Full-Time position with flexible days and hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans.
- Places clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Polishing or cleaning prep tables.
- Sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors.
- Clean garbage cans.
- Sort and remove trash, place it in designated pickup areas.
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas.
- Receive and store supplies.
- Prepare and package individual place settings.
- Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
- Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- One (1) year of restaurant experience required, country club or event kitchen preferred.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism and member / client service skills.
- Ability to absorb information quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate proactive behavior; especially with issues concerning safety, health, and customer needs.
- Approachable and warm demeanor.
- High energy level with a sense of urgency.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a restaurant environment both indoors and outdoors.

Subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping.
