Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This position plays a vital role in supporting our culinary operations and ensuring smooth and efficient service for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Kitchen Maintenance:

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.

Cleaning Duties:

Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down countertops and surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles.

Equipment Oversight:

Monitor dishwashing equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen supervisor or maintenance staff.

Organization:

Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas, ensuring that they are easily accessible for kitchen staff during service.

Support:

Assist kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including food prep, stocking supplies, and supporting other kitchen stations during peak hours. Adherence to

Standards:

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times, including proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure efficient workflow during service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, such as dish racks and kitchen equipment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team, with the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
