The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential to ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly, allowing chefs and kitchen staff to focus on food preparation and service. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing supplies. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health standards. Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or special functions as required. Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies within the kitchen environment. Support other kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations is a plus. Experience in hospitality or culinary settings will be advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness standards.
