Rotating weekends is required. It also includes, opening or closing shifts. Further discussion will be held at the interview with the Executive Chef. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service in our restaurant/hotel setting. Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas. Assist with bussing tables and removing dirty dishes from dining areas to ensure a smooth workflow. Help cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Organize dishwashing area for efficiency and maintain an orderly supply of clean dishes for service. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling safety is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
