The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our restaurant operations and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure that all items are stored properly. Help with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff or cooks. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Support catering events or banquets by preparing necessary items for service. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Knowledge of basic culinary practices is a plus but not mandatory. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential for success in this role.
