The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service in our restaurant, catering, or banquet settings. Duties Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are properly stored after cleaning. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional cleaning tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Willingness to help with various tasks beyond dishwashing, including food preparation and bussing duties.
