Evening Job Brief We are seeking a dedicated and reliable dishwasher to join our restaurant team. The dishwasher’s duties include removing soiled plates and flatware from tables, washing them thoroughly, and resetting tables in preparation for the next party. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed. Responsibilities Ensure all dishes are spotlessly cleaned quickly and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Restock and store all tableware and kitchenware Ensure the kitchen equipment is properly sanitized Assist kitchen staff as needed Unload and store supplies in their proper location Empty and clean all trash receptacles Perform other duties as requested by restaurant staff Qualifications Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a general kitchen cleaning role is preferred Ability to work efficiently and quickly Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items, and stand for long periods Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays
