The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks. Support catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food service and sanitation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during peak service times. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus. Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong work ethic with attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
