Job Summary:

The Catering Dishwasher (Multi-Unit) plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and equipment across our operating units: the warehouse, the back-of-house kitchen, and off-site venues. Responsibilities:
Multi-Unit Dishwashing and Cleaning:

Efficiently wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment at the warehouse, back-of-house kitchen, and off-site venues. Maintain a consistently clean and organized dishwashing area in each assigned location. Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and organized for efficient use in all units. Empty and clean trash receptacles in designated areas of each unit. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed in all assigned locations. Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces across all units.

Multi-Unit Kitchen Support:

Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, such as prepping vegetables or organizing supplies, in any assigned location. Maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and utensils to support the culinary teams across all units, prioritizing tasks based on the fluctuating needs of each location. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized in all units. Sanitation and Safety (Multi-Unit): Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines specific to each operating unit’s requirements. Maintain a consistently clean and safe work environment across all assigned locations. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager, noting the specific unit. Time Management (Multi-Unit): Prioritize tasks to ensure a timely and efficient flow of clean dishes and equipment across the warehouse, back-of-house kitchen, and off-site venues, adapting to varying volumes and demands. Flexibility and Adaptability:

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dishwashing or cleaning role, preferably in a multi-unit setting, is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and geographically distributed environment. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks across multiple locations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different team dynamics in each unit. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
