The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area while supporting food preparation and service operations. This role is essential to ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Sweeping and mopping, cleaning the entire restaurant space prior to staff coming in. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and kitchen operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques.
