Dishwasher/Food Prep Jack’s on the River East Dublin, GA 31027 Job Summary The Food Preparation Worker plays a vital role in the culinary team, responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting in the overall food production process. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization while supporting chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Prepare and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors. Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support catering events by preparing food items in advance and ensuring timely delivery to service areas. Buss tables and assist with food service during banquets or large gatherings as needed. Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Skills Strong culinary skills with a basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in roles related to food preparation or catering. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the hospitality industry. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality output.
