Dishwasher New York Butcher Shoppe and Wine Bar 8186 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31909 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of clean dishes. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and assisting cooks during busy service periods. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Skills Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices. Experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
