We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Busser/Dishwasher to join our team at . This dual-role position is vital to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests while supporting kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:
Dining Area Support (Busser): Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently for incoming guests. Maintain cleanliness of dining and seating areas, including floors and chairs. Empty trash and recycling bins as necessary during shifts.
Dishwasher Duties:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment according to food safety standards. Organize cleaned items in designated storage areas for easy access. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and equipment. Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.
General Responsibilities :
Assist kitchen staff on an as-needed basis with food prep and other tasks. Adhere to all health and safety standards, including obtaining ServSafe or Safe Serve certification. Communicate effectively with the front and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations. Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications :
Experience:
No prior experience required, but prior busser or dishwasher experience is a plus.
Physical Stamina:
Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork:
A cooperative attitude and willingness to assist other team members.
Flexibility:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certification:
Must obtain ServSafe or Safe Serve certification within 90 days of hire.
