The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly sweeping and mopping floors. Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are organized for easy access by kitchen staff. Assist with the cleaning of cooking equipment as needed. Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes during peak service times. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary work environment. Assist with food preparation as needed. Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality or food service industry. Previous experience of at least 2 years in catering, hotel, or restaurant settings is required Basic understanding of culinary operations is a plus. Willingness to help others and contribute positively to team dynamics. Ability to handle high-pressure situations during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards.
