Duties Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned thoroughly and stored in their designated places. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including helping cooks and chefs during busy service times. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Support banquet or catering events by washing dishes used during service promptly. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
