Dishwasher/Utility Worker Red’s Kitchen 1314 Fall River Avenue, Seekonk, MA 02771 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly, allowing our culinary team to focus on preparing delicious meals for our guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors. Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting cooks and chefs in various tasks. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or special functions as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and a smooth workflow. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
