Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Support banquet setups by ensuring all necessary items are clean and available for events. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the culinary team.
