The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Organize and restock clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Follow all sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary terminology is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service in the hospitality industry. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
