Full Job Description Responsibilities:

Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas. Stocks stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary inventory, dishes, and utensils. Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam. Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks. May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed. Complete daily and periodic cleaning assignments Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow state and county sanitation regulations Perform tasks using appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety standards Report all issues found that relate to patient care, safety, and sanitation to appropriate authority and direct supervisor Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to understand and meet kitchen standards for health, safety, and excellence. Ability to remain alert and focused on an environment that is noisy and fast-paced. Ability to work effectively with other staff. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to self-manage, and find appropriate activities. Current Clay County food handler’s permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire. Ability to utilize computer programs for email, reporting, and patient care. Ability to work in uncomfortable conditions (hot or cold). Ability to lift, pull, or push 50lbs without assistance. Current Clay County food handler’s permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire.
