The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position involves not only washing dishes but also supporting food preparation and ensuring that the kitchen environment is safe and sanitary. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment regularly. Support the culinary team by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are tidy. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with catering events by preparing necessary items for service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience in food handling or culinary roles is a plus but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including banquet setups and catering services, is advantageous. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
