The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Support kitchen staff by helping with food preparation tasks as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained in good working order. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service times. Experience Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with catering, hotel, or banquet settings is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is beneficial.
