Job Summary:

Jailhouse Provisions is seeking a dependable and motivated Dishwasher & Operational Support team member to join our back-of-house crew. This essential role helps keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment on beautiful Bald Head Island.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas Load and unload dishwashing machines Wash specific items by hand (e.g., large pots, wooden boards) Store clean dishes, glasses, and kitchen equipment properly Set up workstations before meal prep begins Ensure clean dishware and utensils are available during peak hours Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies (e.g., detergents) Monitor equipment and report any issues promptly Remove trash regularly and sanitize kitchen floors and surfaces

Minimum Qualifications:

Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude Able to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed Strong time management and attention to detail Familiarity with sanitation rules or willingness to learn Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment Must have reliable transportation to the departure point for island access
