The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall food service operations in our restaurant setting. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
