You would work Tuesday threw Friday 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and cleaning supplies. Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and disposing of waste in designated areas. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and sanitation practices is a plus. A background in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial for understanding customer service expectations. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy setting.
