Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support our kitchen operations. This vital team member helps maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with basic food prep duties as needed. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing and prep area. Assist with basic food prep such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Properly dispose of trash and recyclables and clean garbage containers. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times. Support kitchen staff during peak hours as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
