As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and hygienic food service environment. This position is essential for supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and equipment. Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service. Dispose of waste properly and assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Skills Experience in food handling or food service environments is preferred. Familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus. Previous work experience in hotels or restaurants is advantageous. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of kitchen operations can enhance performance in this role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
