The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food service duties. Support catering events and banquets by ensuring all service items are clean and ready for use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes to the cooking area. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to maintain a smooth workflow in the dining area. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a catering or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Basic knowledge of food preparation and culinary practices is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
