The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing a seamless dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping with catering events. Support the kitchen staff by keeping work areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and banquet services, is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 40 pounds).
