Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and supporting cooks during peak service times. Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Dispose of waste and recyclables according to health and safety regulations. Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment to promote hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or catering events. Skills Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving dishwashing or kitchen support. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
