The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential to supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Organize and store clean dishes in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
