This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, allowing our culinary team to focus on food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute positively to our team dynamic. Duties Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash items as necessary to ensure all dishes, utensils, and cookware are clean and sanitized. Assist in the organization of clean dishes, ensuring they are stored properly for easy access by kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including floors, countertops, and sinks. Support food preparation by assisting cooks with basic tasks as needed. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services as required. Skills Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
