Dishwasher/Prep Cook Taco Bamba Taqueria by Chef Victor Albisu 3518 Wade Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This dual role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while preparing delicious meals for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages to management. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep the kitchen clean and orderly. A team player who is willing to help others in the kitchen when needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
