Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher In this role, you’ll provide exceptional support to the kitchen staff by ensuring dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces are clean and sanitary Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwasher or by hand. Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Stock supplies such as food, dishes, and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators. Inspect and clean areas of responsibility. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas. Clean trash cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks. Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking or serving as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk during 8 hour shifts. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in store rooms and freezers. Ability to work in a frequently hot and damp environment and use proper precautions with various types of chemicals. Ability to frequently immerse hands in water.

Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred. Applicable knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Professional appearance and demeanor are a must. Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, aligned with Crawford Hospitality specific brand standards, is required.

Schedule:
