The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including proper disposal of waste. Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping in the kitchen during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes and utensils to support food service operations. Follow all food handling and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning tasks within the kitchen area as directed by management. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
