Shift is 8:00am-4:00pm and consists of weekdays and every other weekend; 40 hours per week. The Dining Services department at Hanover Hill is responsible for providing the highest quality dining experience to meet the dietary needs of our residents in our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age Must possess and maintain a customer service oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled duties as well as special cleaning of work areas and equipment in the kitchen, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain the flexibility to be trained and work in both the dish room as well as in the dining areas throughout the facility. Assure that food service and dishwashing schedules are followed as closely as practical. Clean and wash all silverware, china, pots and pans, etc. as directed and assure that utensils, china, etc. are readily available for next meal. Sweep and mop floors and clean walls as directed. Deliver and pick up food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas. Remove food trays from food carts and wash. Wash carts and condiment containers as directed. Take all rubbish and garbage to dumpster and clean area around dumpster as directed. Help put away delivery stock; break up cardboard boxes and discard them in dumpster.
