Responsibilities:
Dishwashing and Sanitization:
- Operate dishwashing equipment, such as dishwashers, to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment.
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, pots, pans, and utensils before loading them into the dishwasher.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils.
- Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Kitchen Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area and surrounding workspaces.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as cutting boards, sinks, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Empty and clean trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Stock Management:
- Assist in organizing and restocking supplies, such as cleaning agents, detergents, and disposable items.
- Notify the appropriate staff members when supplies need to be replenished.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform the management team of any shortages.
Safety and Hygiene:
- Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing protective gear, such as gloves and aprons.
- Handle and dispose of kitchen waste, including grease, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the management team promptly.
- Maintain personal cleanliness and adhere to personal hygiene standards.
Requirements:
