Responsibilities:

Dishwashing and Sanitization:

• Operate dishwashing equipment, such as dishwashers, to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment.
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, pots, pans, and utensils before loading them into the dishwasher.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils.
• Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Kitchen Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area and surrounding workspaces.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as cutting boards, sinks, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Stock Management:

• Assist in organizing and restocking supplies, such as cleaning agents, detergents, and disposable items.
• Notify the appropriate staff members when supplies need to be replenished.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform the management team of any shortages.

Safety and Hygiene:

• Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing protective gear, such as gloves and aprons.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste, including grease, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the management team promptly.
• Maintain personal cleanliness and adhere to personal hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as
