Dishwasher The Brunch Club Rochester Rochester, NH 03867 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is vital to the overall success of our food service operations, supporting both culinary staff and customer satisfaction. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service times. Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the culinary team.
