Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist in the organization of dish storage areas to ensure easy access and proper inventory management. Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and assisting with food handling when necessary. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed.
