The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and ensuring a smooth operation within the restaurant or catering service. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic culinary duties. Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Support the team by bussing tables and assisting with catering events as required. Follow all food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness in all aspects of work.
